The Opportunity
An exceptional opportunity for a high-performing finance professional with 2 to 6 years of experience to join the treasury division of a well-established financial institution. Based in Sydney, this is a hands-on and analytical role offering exposure to treasury operations, hedging instruments and FX payments.
This role is well-suited to professionals with an established background in Treasury looking to build deep technical expertise in financial modelling and treasury analysis. They are open to working holiday visa’s with a strong treasury background.
The Challenge
In this Treasury Analyst role, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting daily treasury payments and funding
- Managing treasury operations in relation to FX
- Assisting with monitoring daily cash positions and liquidity requirements
- Supporting cash forecasting and short-term liquidity analysis
- Preparing cash reports and treasury dashboards for internal stakeholders
- Supporting funding and hedging analysis for acquisitions, developments or capital events
The Expertise
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- 2 to 6 years’ experience in a Treasury role
- Exposure to cash management, banking or debt facilities (desirable)
- A detail-oriented and analytical mindset, with the ability to work independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A relevant degree in finance, economics, accounting or related field; CA, CPA, or CFA qualifications highly regarded
- A proactive approach and eagerness to grow within a high-performing team
