The Opportunity
Join a growing business committed to delivering impactful services across Australia. This Senior Finance Analyst role offers the chance to lead financial planning, governance, and reporting for complex structures, providing insights that support strategic decision-making and business performance.
The Challenge
Reporting into the Head of FP&A, you will play a pivotal role in providing strategic financial insight and partner with stakeholders across the business. You will lead the financial governance of joint ventures and support the budget and forecast process. More specifically, you will be involved with the following:
- Lead the financial setup and governance of joint ventures, ensuring statutory, tax, and consolidation compliance.
- Design and manage cost allocation frameworks for accurate and transparent sharing of costs across the business.
- Own portfolio budgeting and forecasting, ensuring robust models and assumptions.
- Deliver clear variance analysis and financial insights to support decision-making.
- Prepare and review intercompany journals.
- Partner with Executives and cross-functional teams to provide commercial and performance insight.
- Drive continuous improvement, reporting, and systems optimisation, including business intelligence tools.
The Expertise
Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:
- You are CA/CPA qualified
- You may have commenced your career in chartered and have since moved into a financial accounting focused role, now looking to gain commercial exposure
- Strong technical accounting skills and sound understanding of reporting and reconciliations
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Excellent communication skills and confidence working with stakeholders at all levels
- A proactive, hands-on approach and genuine interest in contributing to a collaborative finance team
