The Opportunity
This is a rare opportunity to work in the commercial finance team of a top ASX consumer goods business. The role is responsible for business partnering with key business units and providing commentary and detailed budgets and forecasts to the GMs of the division. You will continue to drive commercial insights through the use of dashboards and complex financial modelling and presenting findings to the executive leadership team. 

The Challenge
Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager, you will be responsible for but not limited to the following: 

• Supporting the Commercial Finance Manager to provide key stakeholders and finance with tailored, strategic advice, business case support and performance reporting
• Provide full P&L financial support on commercial arrangements.
• Providing analysis of commercial information and advising key operational staff to drive performance
• Providing analytical support to the strategic planning process;
• Delivery of performance reporting, metrics submissions and commentary for the Board & EGM
• Provide business partnering, financial modelling and business case support on projects

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• You are CA/CPA qualified with 5-7 years of total experience. Ideally, you have consumer goods/retail/FMCG experience in an Group FP&A or Commercial team
• Strong budgeting and forecasting skills
• Strong financial modelling and commercial partnering experience with excellent Excel skills
• It’s likely that you will have begun your career within the Big 4 or mid-tier before spending 1-3 years working in industry
