The Opportunity

Our client is a renowned and highly regarded property development group, boasting a substantial portfolio of ongoing projects and an equally strong pipeline of work. An exciting opportunity to join the business as a Management Accountant has come up. In this role, you will become part of a well-established team led by a capable and supportive Group Financial Controller, where the emphasis is on nurturing professional growth and acquiring knowledge.

The Challenge

As part of this role you will be required to provide accurate and insightful management reporting and analysis which will enable the business to make strategic operational decisions.  Your main responsibilities will include:

• Prepare timely and accurate monthly management reports
• Prepare budget and 5-year forecasting of cash flow, profit and balance sheet for the business
• Monthly cash flow reporting
• Variance analysis against budget, and updating forecasts as required 
• Review and/or prepare WIP reconciliation and recharge of costs
• Ad hoc project work and process improvement – system implementation, business partnering

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• 4-6 years’ experience in a commercial accounting position, alternatively you may have started your career in professional services and have had exposure to some budgeting and forecasting 
• CPA or CA, or close to completing
• High levels of initiative with a proactive, forward-thinking attitude
• Ability to develop strong working relationships with non-financial stakeholders
• Excellent excel skills will be highly regarded
