The Opportunity
Join a dynamic and expanding consulting arm of a real estate group as a Junior Accountant. This is a hands-on role that will give you exposure across a wide range of accounting functions and the chance to grow your skills in a supportive environment. You will work closely with the Head of Finance, a highly experienced leader who is passionate about mentoring and developing her team.

This opportunity is ideal for an accounting graduate with two to three years of experience who is ready to take the next step in their career. You will gain valuable exposure to both business and trust accounting while contributing to the success of a fast-growing, professional, and well-respected group.

The Challenge
Reporting into the Head of Finance your responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining general Business Accounts including processing accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices.
• Managing trust accounts including marketing reconciliations
• Processing payroll
• Daily banking and reconciliations
• Settlements
• Financial reporting (Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss, Cash Flows etc.)

The Expertise
Please consider expressing interest if you possess the following:

• 2-3 years’ experience in a relevant role 
• Bachelor’s degree with a major in Finance or Accounting
• Intending to complete or currently undertaking CA or CPA qualification
• Experience in real estate or trust accounting (advantageous, not essential)
• Exposure to Xero (highly regarded)
• Strong interpersonal skills and the confidence to liaise with key stakeholders
• A positive, can-do attitude with great attention to detail
