The Opportunity
A portfolio company of one of the leading PE firms in the country, this high-growth technology company is well funded with a clear mandate for rapid future growth.
This is a pivotal leadership role that combines financial control, tax and finance operations with strategic influence, offering the successful candidate the chance to help shape the company’s financial direction during a period of exciting growth.
The executive management team is very strong, the board is cohesive and the private equity group is highly regarded.
The Challenge
Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- The production of timely and accurate monthly financial statements and management reports
- Establish and maintain appropriate internal financial controls and risk management safeguards
- Manage the statutory taxation obligations, including preparing tax calculation work papers
- Monitoring day to day cashflow and treasury operations including banking relationships
- Oversee and drive processes for streamlining financial reporting
- Managing the relationship with external auditors and leading the annual audit process including the audit plan and timeline
- Effectively monitoring and communicating the group’s capital requirements and coordinating with CFO on funds flow
- Lead a high-performing finance team
The Expertise
Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:
- CA, ideally big 4 or mid-tier-chartered accounting experience prior to your successful transition into industry
- Ability to be hands-on with proven experience driving financial performance across a team-oriented environment
- Superior financial reporting and technical accounting experience
- Experience in the development of internal controls and financial policies
- Excellent interpersonal skills with strong ability to collaborate with and influence internal and external stakeholders
