The Opportunity 

Join a growing organisation entering a busy and important phase of its development, this role offers the opportunity to step into a business with momentum and ambition. 

This is an initial temporary role that is suited to a qualified accountant with 3-5 years’ experience who is immediately available. You will bring a strong technical foundation to assist the business during this period of growth and transformation. You will add value to the overall finance function and work as a 2iC to the Head of Finance. 

The Challenge 

Working alongside and reporting into the Head of Finance, you will be involved in the following:

• Own and maintain balance sheet integrity, including timely and accurate reconciliations and issue resolution
• Deliver month-end close activities, including journals, accruals, and financial reporting support
• Support cost accounting and margin analysis, partnering with stakeholders to improve cost visibility and accuracy
• Identify and implement process improvement initiatives to strengthen controls, efficiency, and scalability
• Prepare and review account reconciliations, ensuring compliance with internal policies and accounting standards

The Expertise 
  
Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• You are CA/CPA qualified
• You may have commenced your career in a chartered firm or alternatively have work in an Financial Accountant position
• Strong technical accounting skills and sound understanding of reporting and reconciliations
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving ability
• Excellent communication skills and confidence working with stakeholders at all levels
• A proactive, hands-on approach and genuine interest in contributing to a collaborative finance team
