The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accounts Officer looking to join a fast-paced and growing design and construction business. With a strong reputation across Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia, the business partners with well known clients and continues to expand into new markets.

This role offers flexibility, will be broad and exciting, and is ideal for someone who enjoys a busy and diverse duties working within a supportive and close knit team environment.

The Challenge

Reporting to the Finance Director, your responsibilities will include:

• Accounts receivable, including raising invoices, monitoring debtors and following up on outstanding payments.
• Reconciling customer accounts and preparing debtor reports.
• Basic bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.
• Data entry and ensuring accuracy across financial records.
• Reconciling and paying staff expenses.
• Credit card reconciliations.
• Invoice entry into a construction industry software system.
• Assisting with general office administration, including correspondence, organising meetings, and supporting day-to-day office requirements.
• Working closely with the Finance Director and broader finance team.

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• Degree qualified or diploma in Accounting
• 5 years’ experience in accounts (AP/AR/Accounts Officer).
• Great interpersonal skills and highly proficient written skills
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills 
• Ability to multitask with attention to detail
• Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
• Flexible and adaptable in an everchanging environment
